Court of Appeal Upholds Separation Agreement Decision and Allows Cross-Appeal

Johanna M. Stein represented the respondent, Barbara Gobis, in chambers applications arising from a disputed relationship breakdown, including the sale of a jointly owned Kelowna property, the proposed transfer of trial location, and disclosure of credit card statements. The hearing took place on January 19, 2024. The Court ordered the Kelowna property sold, directed that trial be set in Vancouver or New Westminster, ordered disclosure of unredacted credit card statements, and found Ms. Gobis substantially successful.
