Mother of Disabled Child Awarded Sole Guardianship, Custody and Support

Some family law cases are about money. Others are about making sure a child’s day-to-day needs are protected. This case involved both.

In K.J.S. v. K.K.K.L., Thomas Harding acted for a mother who was the full-time caregiver to a handicapped child. The judgment addressed guardianship, custody, and retroactive and ongoing child support.

The result helped secure legal and financial structure for a caregiving parent and child.
