Court of Appeal Upholds Separation Agreement Decision and Allows Cross-Appeal

Johanna M. Stein represented the respondent and appellant on cross-appeal in a Court of Appeal family law matter arising from the 2018 trial decision. The appeal was heard on May 26, 2021. The Court dismissed Ms. Liu’s appeal from the dismissal of her claim to set aside the consent final order and allowed Mr. Chan-Henry’s cross-appeal concerning the treatment of a capital gain for child-support income purposes.
