Chris Carta Represents Father in COVID-19 Parenting Time Dispute

Chris Carta represented the respondent father in competing family law applications concerning COVID-19 public health orders, parenting time, co-parenting, and the introduction of a new partner. The hearing took place in Vancouver on December 17 and 21, 2020. The Court found the father’s new partner was an occupant for purposes of the public health orders, dismissed the mother’s application to vary the parenting regime, ordered parenting time to resume immediately, and awarded the father compensatory parenting time.
