Appeal Extension Dismissed After Trial Judgment in Lal v. Lal

Chris Carta represented Ms. Lal at trial, and the Court of Appeal later considered Mr. Lal’s application for an extension of time to appeal the trial judgment. The appeal application was heard in Vancouver on October 21, 2016. The Court dismissed the application, finding that Mr. Lal failed to establish when and how he first learned the reasons had been released.
