B.C. Court of Appeal Clarifies the Relocation Test in Dedes v. Dedes

Johanna M. Stein represented the mother/appellant in a Court of Appeal relocation case concerning whether the children could move from British Columbia to Ontario. The appeal was heard on December 1, 2014. The Court allowed the appeal, set aside the chambers decision, and remitted the matter to the trial court to reconsider whether there had been a material change in circumstances.
